Fixturing is a critical part of the inspection process and a robust design is essential. Poor fixturing can lead to parts failing to meet the required specification.

We offer a full turn-key solution that includes the design, manufacture and installation of inspection fixtures. Our team has a wealth of experience, across multiple industries, in the design and use of bespoke fixturing.

A good fixture will have minimal set up time, provide sufficient support to the part and allow the access required to complete the required measurements. They can increase the repeatability of the inspection process and lead to an improvement in results.

Using a good fixture on a CMM can vastly improve throughput through the inspection department. Multiple parts can be loaded at once and be left to run whilst the Inspector carries out other tasks. To help reduce set up time between products we can supply fixtures on their own base plate if required. By using multiple plates these can be quickly swapped over reduce downtime between measurements.
